Kaunas – city of traditions of Lithuania Army
Vytautas the Great War Museum presents the virtual exhibition called „Kaunas – city of traditions of Lithuania Army“, which is dedicated to the year of the Contemporary capital.
In the early 20th century Vilnius was captured by Poland and Kaunas became the contemporaty capital – the most important city of the Lithuania. During the period of 1919-1940 The Lithuania Army played an important role in Kaunas.
The purpose of the virtual exhibition is to present and publish the photographs kept in the Vytautas the Great War museum, related to 1919–1940 Lithuania Army life in Kaunas.
